TPO is a single-ply membrane. It is one layer of sheet roofing joined at heat-welded seams. The membrane, its seams and the details around roof openings all belong in the assessment.

We also repair slipped tile, damaged shingles and roof flashing. With tile, the tile you see and the underlayment, the protective layer beneath it, are separate parts of the roof. Replacing a broken tile alone does not fix damaged underlayment.

If the underlayment needs work, lift and relay means removing the tile and replacing the layer below. The usable tile then goes back on the roof. Damage to the tile or the decking, the boards underneath, affects how much work the roof needs.

The size of the damaged area is only part of the price. The number of stories, the roof slope, the material and damage beneath the covering also affect the estimate. Lifting and resetting tile needs different labor than a small fix on exposed roofing.
